Maternal health is associated to the health of women during pregnancy, childbirth and the postpartum period. While motherhood is most often a positive and fulfilling experience, but for many women it is affiliated with suffering, ill-health and even demise. It is important for children to get regular checkups with their health care provider. Visits to medical practitioner is a good chance to check the child's development and catch or prevent problems.
